Oakterra is personally led by its two owners, bringing hands-on construction experience, project management, and design into one coordinated approach.
Cody Murphy
Co-Founder / Owner
Born and raised in Connecticut, Cody brings six years experience in landscape design, construction, and project management. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Earth Science, and through hiking the Pacific Crest Trail he spent six years in Washington State, deepening his appreciation for the natural world. He has helped design, build, and manage numerous projects each valued at more than $300,000. Founding Oakterra to deliver a personalized approach to landscape design, creating spaces shaped by each client’s needs, the character of their property, and commitment to quality.
Daniel Conner
Co-Founder / Owner
Born and raised in Connecticut, Dan graduated from UConn in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology before discovering a passion for hardscaping and outdoor living design. With over six years of experience across Connecticut, Washington, and Tennessee, he brings a strong background in landscape design, project management, and residential outdoor living. Outside of work, Dan enjoys exploring new places with his wife Shelby, playing ultimate frisbee, snowboarding in the winter, and spending time with friends and family.
