Founded by Dan Conner and Cody Murphy, Oakterra brings together more than 12 years of combined experience in outdoor living design, sales, and project management.

Our Background
Experience that began in the field.
Dan and Cody grew up in Eastern Connecticut and have been best friends since 2006. They went on to start their careers on hardscape crews, working their way up to foreman, designer, and project manager. Because we’ve handled every stage of a project, from the first sketch to the final stone, we design things that can actually be built well and plan the work so it runs smoothly.
With 12 years of combined experience, we’ve worked on custom residential projects on the East and West Coasts and in central Tennessee’s custom home market. Now we’re bringing that experience back home to homeowners and builders across Fairfield and Litchfield Counties.
